Boogers, tantrums, and play group...OH MY!

Benji has picked up a nasty viral bug that is causing an excess amount of boogies. More about that on caringbridge......but the highlight is that this kid can blow his nose. In fact, at age 2 he can blow his nose more effectively than Isaac at age 7. How does that happen?

To make up for his excellent nose blowing skills, he is proving to be a terrible almost-three-year old when he is feeling well. His repetoire of naughtiness includes non-stop tormenting Isaac, stealing toys, biting Glenn, and commandeering the laptops to beat on. And that was all by noon today. Sigh.....when we prayed for normal we should have been more specific.

Speaking of normal, we started a playgroup this week. BENJI HAS LITTLE FRIENDS! WhooHoo. The first play group was definately a success and we are hoping for a couple more kids to join us next time. Due to lack of adult conversation, I am soooooo looking forward to the next playgroup. Think that maybe I need to get out more? Yep.

Next week we are also going to try to hit storytime at the library. We....ummmm I.... forgot the first week, had bad weather the 2nd week, and spent week 3 in the hospital. Fingers crossed.......we will make it this week before taking off for appointments in Iowa City. I actually called the library today and checked to see which of the three times it's offered had the fewest kids, switched our time, and am hoping that the equation of fewer kids equals fewer germs.
